Yes I did get that picture from there. Mine is not as loose either. I bought some felt tape to maybe put in between there to try.

It's amazing how this is STILL a problem - I get it once in a while, no matter what the weather is like and sometimes it just ...goes away. Of course, the dealer was no help BUT they did offer me a free FORD sticker lol.

Had the exact same thing happen to me for the first time yesterday on the driver side. Backed off just slightly on the window being fully closed, and the noise went away. Wouldn't that indicate its an issue with the window seal and not the door?

That's where I'm leaning towards. Window seal by the B pillar

Same issue here. green dotted liner/seal rattles at full close then go away if you drop the window down for an inch or less. I can touch and find the exact spots that radiate based on the exterior wind's angle of attack in motion.

where you able to solve it with a fix? I thought I was close but I popped the sunroof today in vent position and boom there it was until I cracked the window down then up again.

I’ve experienced this same issue from time to time as well. Similar fix with ever so slightly adjusting the window down from full up.

My guess, the window actuator is actually pushing up a little more than it needs to during roll up. Creating the slightest flex in the glass. This changes the seal geometry on the trim and either vibration or air is causing the noise/flutter.

I’ve rolled my window up on occasion and the sound of full lock/engagement seemed “extra firm or hard” suggesting the actuator overextend. Followed by this “flutter” when getting on the highway after leaving my neighborhood.

I'm starting to believe this is a "gremlin" put in by the factory, so we take our trucks back to the dealer (to sell us something?) AND to give us something to bitch about that unites us all in our search. LMAO

Just watched this video. SOLVED: DOOR NOISE from car completely gone in minutes: SMARTDrive
Suggesting applying tire dressing on certain sections of the door weatherstripping does the trick.
Also, notice the F150 owners in the comments.
Haven't tried this yet, but let's hope this cures the issue.

I use the 303 Products rubber seal treatment or nextzett gummi pfledge on all the weatherstripping when I detail the truck and the noise is still present.

I agree with The_ogre25 that it doesn’t totally solve the problem. I use Aerospace 303 products on my door seals etc and although I think it helps I still get it from time to time especially after the sun beats down on my driver’s side door.

The B-pillar window gasket is loose even when the widow is closed. When at speed the gasket vibrates. Mine makes this noise only then going through the car wash and the blower passes the driver window. It stopped making this noise on mine when I pressed outward on the window by the B-pillar putting pressure against the window seal and door trim.

I may have a solution for it but just have not been bothered enough to do it yet since it's not all the time, but I'll probably do it this evening now that It's on my radar.

You'll need a tube of RTV sealant. Paper towels or rag, Painters tape, and a plastic wedge or two.

Roll the window down and use a rag to clean the dirt out of the mating surfaces for the gasket and door. Put a strip of painters tape on the black trim on the door next to the window seal. Now apply a few dabs of RTV sealant along the gasket and then close the window. Insert the plastic wedges between the glass and window seal to press it against the door. Wipe off any excess RTV sealant and let it cure.

I'll report back after doing this and take it through the wash to confirm if it stopped doing this.

I have not tried anything yet and rattle is still on! :( I know the rattle is wind strength and direction of travel dependent.
