Hey all, hoping someone might have an idea. Like an idiot, I smacked my driver’s mirror into a cement pillar in a garage. I replaced the damaged part (turn signal light on the mirror) and re-installed my mirror. The window switches, power fold, blind spot, and mirror adjustment all works perfectly. However, the door lock buttons and memory seat buttons are no longer working. Any idea on things to check? I checked fuse 23 for the door control module, which was fine. No idea what else it could be.
Thanks!

Did you remove door panel? Any chance those plugs could be not seated in the control panel in the door?

Nope, didn’t remove the door panel. Only wire/plug I touched was the one in the mirror. I didn’t remove anything else from the door, just that black cover over the mirror bolts.

That’s strange.
I know. Can’t imagine what went wrong. Possible somethings lose, but I’d prefer not to pull apart the door panel unless I absolutely have to.

Do you have FORScan or any other ability to read any DTCs that the truck reports? If so, try rebooting the DDM and clearing and rescanning for DTCs. If not, disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, reconnect and test function.

I’ll give that a shot, thanks. My friend borrowed my OBD MX, so I have to grab it back from him tomorrow.

Finally had a few minutes to try this tonight. Sure enough, DTC codes for DDM circuit being tripped. Cleared the codes, rebooted the DDM module, but no dice. It's going to the dealer tomorrow AM for a new turn signal (#3 now), so I figure they'll have the battery disconnected anyway. Hopefully it works when I get it back.

I know it doesn't help now, but in future with any physical operation on electrical/electronics, disconnect battery and wait 20 minutes for all modules to power down. The DDM could have received a spike from the disconnect if it still had some power 🤷‍♂️

Normally it’s the first thing I do. Had a lot going on lately, hence how I broke the stupid mirror in the first place. I just wasn’t thinking straight when I went to replace it and forgot to disconnect the battery first. Boneheaded move on my part, I know.
