Does anyone know if the active motion massage seats can be added after purchase or if they will be a retro fit from ford at a latter date

It takes time. I spent a solid 11hrs working on both seats, as I was taking tons of pictures to make sure I didn't forget anything.

I’m done with the physical installation of both seats. I’m encouraged that I had no leftover plugs or screws?. All seat movement controls work. Now for Forscan. I’ve done a few Forscan changes in this truck and my 2019 F350. I might get Jesse Infotainment to remote me, but I’m willing to give it a try if someone can spell it out for me. I’ve done nothing Forscan on the seats thus far. No putting in As Builts or anything. Where should I start? Anybody have the patience to spell it out for me?

Jesse Infotainment did it for me, and I’m glad. I had updated modules so he had to do a lot of extra stuff. I’ve now got Massaging seats!! And they work great. A lot more pressure than on my son’s Explorer.

Hi all, I just did the passenger side swap on my '23 Plat w/ 18-speaker B&O w/ PRB, but I ran into a few problems... Hoping someone can offer some guidance...

Passenger and Driver side harnesses MU5Z14A699E & MU5Z14A698F are out of stock and was replaced with MU5Z14A699YX & MU5Z14A698DH as noted, otherwise I used JJSnell's parts list, and everything installed as advertised.

Problem: Power seat bottom moves forward and back, but power seat back does not work (tilt forward/back) at all. Lumbar also doesn't work.

I am under the assumption that FORScan should fix the lumbar when I turn the MCS on, but I'm not sure why the back of the power seat won't tilt forward/back unless something is loose or wrong. Do we truly not need the motor that was attached to the yellow frame anymore? What did that power? It was the first thing that came to mind... but re-reading the forums it looks like it's not needed. I want to get the driver's side done but I don't want to go through all the work if I have a wrong harness or something and then end up having to redo part of it.

Definitely the motor you removed has nothing to do with your issue. It’s supposed to be removed. And your lumbar will come alive with the activation of the MCS. You either have the wrong harness or, more likely, you’ve missed a plug or one isn’t all the way seated. I missed one. But then found it.

I second this.

Can confirm, the recline motor plug disconnected somehow. I know I plugged that one in too, it was a different color from original harness which stuck out to me... Oh well. Driver side went in today and just finished the programming. It's a daunting job that will destroy your fingers, but well worth it... VERY happy over here. Last undelete is the APA and then I'm 1:1 minus the Advanced Security Pack which I believe cannot be readded. Thanks all!

Yep! I wore gloves 1/2 way into the passenger seat, as my hands were getting torn up. It's time-consuming and I got a eye-roll from the wife when she opened the door to garage and saw me sitting there with the passenger seat of my new truck in front me and its guts all out.

Glad you got it figured out and you're happy. You're welcome. This people in this forum have been exceptional when it comes to helping others.

I've seen someone previously mix up the fan and the ambient lighting so you're ahead on the front at least.

First month into the new truck and I had the dash torn apart to undelete the heated steering wheel w/ HVAC control module & ambient lighting. I know that wife look very well. I'm still not sure if she was more comfortable with the MCS undelete because she knows me better, or because she'll also make use of it.

Agreed with the support received from folks on this forum. I don't think I'd have been able to perform the work, let alone determine what part numbers I need and what FORScan values to change, for any of the undeletes. Before this truck I was used to plug and play parts and some basic ECM programming. A much simpler time...

Just did the install on a 2023 F350 lariat. The donor seats came from a wrecked 21 F150 platinum. Moved the air bladders and wire harness from these seats over to mine. I noticed a few details that may or may not help someone out there in the internet trying to move seats between the F150 and Super Duty platforms...

For anyone out there wondering if the 2023 / 2024+ F250 and F350 super duty seats are the same as the 2021+ F150, they are NOT the 100% same! They are VERY similar but they are not plug and play swappable in one direction. The 2023+ Super Duty seats do not have the impact sensor in the driver seat and the passenger seat does not have an occupancy sensor. It is for this reason, you likely can put a F150 seat into a super duty but you can NOT go the other way around without transplanting the occupancy sensor, impact collision sensor, and the internal seat harnesses.

I installed the F150 MCS harness without issue into my F350. The passenger seat had an extra plug for the occupancy sensor and an extra plug for a motor (8-Way vs 10-Way). The driver seat had an extra plug for the impact sensor. No issues there!

Something else of interest is that my 23 F250 / F350 seat harness with Fixed steps is interestingly wired and pinned for the powered running boards ( not vehicle side harness). The seat module itself does not have the electronics for the PRB but it is at least wired... My buddy's 21 F150 lariat without Powered Running boards does not have the PRB wiring / pins or the seat module with PRB guts.

All I've been following this thread for some time as I'd like to add the MCS seats to my 2023 Platinum F150. I was recently told by my dealer that I don't have the correct connections to add the seats. They told me in order to add MCS , it would require a new BCM and 14 hours of labor before parts to add them. This seems different than what all are explaining on this thread.

lf the dealer is wrong, I'm okay sourcing the parts, but a little uneasy about the installation process on my new(ish) truck. Does anyone know of someone in the DFW area that would be able to assist with the install and computer changes necessary to add this mod?
