Every 6 months.
That's twice that I have to touch the screen in 2024 alone.

I can't wait to trade this, otherwise amazing, truck in. ?
You should, wouldn't want you to strain a finger.

@FirstFord good news, finally had some time to play around today and it's actually very easy to disable ACC and the warning to only use normal cruise. In the IPC, use the easy change method and just disable Adaptive Cruise Control as seen below.

This pretty much tells the cluster there is no ACC anymore so it won't worry about the warning. Like I said before, ACC will no longer function so keep that in mind. It actually looks like it wants to try and work when you first get going, but if you try to use ACC it will never go and then actually turns cruise off completely, but no CEL or anything bad so no issues. If you want to make sure ACC doesn't get enabled again (even though it won't work at all) just go the the APIM and disable the option(s) for it.

I desperately want to disable the keep your eyes on the road, or keep your hands on the wheel messages.

I must drive too perfectly because the stupid truck thinks I’m never holding on. I’m to the point where I think I need to drink and drive to get less nannies.
You can disable the eye tracker, but this will disable Bluecruise as well. The changes are in the common tab in the Forscan sheet. Can't do anything about the keep your hands on the wheel messages, but there the simple and easy ankle weight fix for that if you want to go down that route.

God love ya, man!!! THANK YOU!!! I will be very eager to implement this improvement, which might be this coming weekend. If this works out, then you have saved my sanity! (Or, at least my temper... ;))

I'm not sure I'm following exactly what you are saying here... I currently have ACC turned OFF in the Sync4 menu. After I make the FORScan changes you suggested, I will still have regular/standard cruise control, right? And if I sell the truck, I can go back into FORScan and change everything back to have ACC again for the next owner, correct?

That is just what I found playing around with it, seeing how ACC would act after being disabled in the IPC, it doesn't work at all which is find and good. Yes normal cruise works just fine and you'd want to revert it back if/when you get rid of the truck.

Got the FORScan changes made, and it works beautifully! THANK YOU! I love it! The stupid alarms and visual notices are turned off, and I have retained "standard" Cruise Control. I'm glad it turned out to be so simple to solve after all.
