After much denial, i've accepted that my driver lower beam is fucked. I have to re-zero that beam nearly every day. Even a small speed bump knocks it out of alignment. My passenger and driver upper beam seem to hold just fine. Finally contact Steve at Diode Dynamics about what we can do to fix this. My immediate fear is that they'll need to be replaced as a PAIR and that ill have to wait MONTHS for a replacement set. I'm pretty on my final shred of support for these lights. Ive given every benefit of the doubt and denial but these have been a nightmare. I absolutely love them when they work well, which is seldom. Depending on how this plays out i might ask for a refund and pay just as much for an OEM swap (minus the fogs). I've tried the aforementioned slapping method, but no matter what they still drop.

Any update? My drivers lower beam has gone out of adjustment now too. It’s shining up WAY too high. It was fine for about two weeks. Than one morning it’s in the sky again.

I reached out and they’re sending me a driver headlight. The eta on my email says it’s an 8 week back order. I’d get my money back and do an OEM swap at this point.

I was told today to adjust them all the way up until they stop. Then turn the adjuster a little more. Said sometimes they pop off the adjuster ball.

I’ll try it and see what happens.

Wild. Ill try it tonight after work. Ill twist my and it'll adjust OPPOSITE of the other beams and suddenly go FEET above or below where it was. Been doing the tap method to try and get it to fall into just the right spot but no luck. Youd think popping off the adjuster ball would make it not work at all... Ill report back with my findings.

I’m hoping that fixes it. I’m in the middle of a snow storm otherwise I would have gone out and done it when they told me about it.

Still haven’t got my replacement light sent out. But it’s only been 6 of the 8 weeks of supposed back order. I don’t expect them to become available early or on time actually.

tips, not really. Is pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions. Routing all the wires takes time and do it right otherwise your bay looks cluttered. Running the switch though the firewall grommet was the hardest for me.
Honestly, install them asap and test for function. Imagine getting your fogs in and doing the install only for the headlights to be fucked…

As much as I appreciate your response, this is the same type of response I get from an email. I have called. I am told one thing and over a month later from when I'm told they would be shipped, they are not. I have been waiting over a year and a half for this whole order to arrive. I would suggest updating the expected wait time for anything on backorder to reflect the realistic wait time.

Well, this answers my question- I was about to order some lights from these guys- but I think I'll pass. I have enough problems in life without headlights being among them - Good luck guys.
