I was told today to adjust them all the way up until they stop. Then turn the adjuster a little more. Said sometimes they pop off the adjuster ball.
I’ll try it and see what happens.
Any update? My drivers lower beam has gone out of adjustment now too. It’s shining up WAY too high. It was fine for about two weeks. Than one morning it’s in the sky again.
The tapping method, as I call it, is to adjust the light elevation. Then tap/slap the assembly with your hand on the lense to make sure the light settles onto the adjuster completely. Repeat this until your lights are adjusted correctly and not settling any more.
The tapping method seems to have worked. My headlights are holding adjustment now. The left dropped a tiny bit but it’s only noticeable on a very flat very dark road. In common conditions I can’t tell. So I think I’m good unless it falls again later.
I have a front end level and I don’t seem to have an issue with blinding others. But I think what I’m going to end up doing is going to the local church parking lot at night. And just adjust the lights to the distance and convergence I like where it’s far enough out to see well. But not so...
