There's really no need to change gears. The transmission has plenty of gears (3 overdrive gears) to get you to high speed. I haven't done the math, but I'm guessing 10th gear with 3.73 rear at 7000rpm is WELL over 150mph.I have 3.73s and want speed vs grunt
According to these maths (https://spicerparts.com/calculators/transmission-ratio-rpm-calculator) 7000rpm in 10th is 288mph. I hate to be a downer but I don't think he's gonna make it!There's really no need to change gears. The transmission has plenty of gears (3 overdrive gears) to get you to high speed. My point exactly... you will have more "grunt" AND higher top speed with the 3.73sAccording to these maths (https://spicerparts.com/calculators/transmission-ratio-rpm-calculator) 7000rpm in 10th is 288mph. I hate to be a downer but I don't think he's gonna make it!![]()
