Delivery from Dearborn to Granger

I'm in the waiting status as many of you were. This is my status:

From what I'm getting from Ford, I should be expecting my truck to be delivered between 12 - 18 November 2024. I'm trying to find how to track my truck on the rail car from Dearborn but it seems that can't be done. Also, looking for someone from New Jersey that picked up a vehicle from Granger to see if NJ will issue temp tags early so I can drive it back with no issues. Congrats to those that just received your trucks.

Ford chat can give you the rail car number. You can call the rail company and find out where it is. By now it's likely at the rail yard in KC waiting for a truck to Granger. Mine got to KC in 3 days, but sat there for almost 2 weeks waiting for a truck. You'll have it any day now!

It was six weeks from order to delivery on my wife’s BMW X7 in 2022. Shocking that based on current timeline it will take 5 weeks or more to ship a completed truck from Dearborn to Granger. The initial delivery date was Oct 15th or so, now saying Nov 12th-18th. At least I ordered in Feb vs Nov. I don’t think any of this is Granger’s doing and they warned me it could be 9 months, but the fact Ford doesn’t find this embarrassing is surprising. This isn’t 2020-2021. In 2024 this is something they have chosen not to address vs something out of their control.

Mine was ordered (confirmed by FoMoCo) 1-23-24 and delivered 11-4-24 - not a good experience.
Ford clearly doesn't care about custom orders. After all, they only build 650,000 of them per year - why concern themselves with a retail customer's order...

After 53 weeks my truck finally arrived at Granger. I will pick it up next week. Working with Shelby to have all of the paperwork ready for when I arrive. Shelby also found additional deductions to help reduce the final number.
