2022 Lariat Powerboost
Sorry for the incoming rant but here I go. I have a 22 Powerboost which I really do like, but like all vehicles there are some issues I want addressed considering how new and expensive it was. I took it to my local dealership on the day they requested for the following:
-Windshield wiper recall
-Flickering running light TSB
-Auto roll up windows rolling themselves down occasionally
-Transmission lurch from a stop (most likely auxiliary transmission pump per the forum)

My service advisor said they would call me at the end of the day to let me know if It was going to be ready for pickup. Fast forward 5 business days, a weekend, and many unanswered calls....I had to just show up to get the truck back. I caught my service advisor leaving for the day. He said "oh yes you're here to get your truck whether the work is done or not". He spent about 5 minutes pulling my truck around and magically had the service paperwork done claiming tech were unable to duplicate any issues. To me this was clearly a lie, which I called him out on. He said he was sorry for the delays, they're just short on mechanics. Guess I'll be going to another dealership.

I have no good dealers around me. Every time a service writer begins to speak, I relax a little and prepare for the smoke :ROFLMAO:

Dealerships and especially service departments for Ford are completely worthless. If the computer doesn't tell them what door to open I'm guessing most wouldn't be able to figure it out.

Ha, that reminds me of westworld s3 episode 3 where the computer-instructed paramedics have no clue as to what to do with a character that's been shot several times and is losing blood saying something like 'we can't do anything until we get a diagnostics from the computer'.
