80k frustrations

Not sure where or how to put this post . The frustration level is so high it crazy. 22 Limited PB has had 2 service soon wrenches with reduced power , 2 check engine codes, which resulted in a new right bank Cat , I have a musty odor from the AC , headlight system error, a broken wiper linkage and constant poor signal on CarPlay … I want /need a truck that I can rely on … 80k for this and just broke 15300 miles …

I have a 502A.. and so far only three recalls. Next time around i will do an xlt with the 3.3 and stay simple. complexity is way up.. and quality from vendors is evidently rock bottom lately. A lot of moving parts-especially with software supporting hardware updates every year.

I have the same truck with similar miles and haven't had any of those issues. Seems like you drew the short straw unfortunately.

You've had bad luck but that is what warranty is for. Get dealer to fix it. I'm sure you will have many happy years ahead of you.

While I appreciate your good fortune , the service department at my dealership appears to be trying. But this crap of being in the Service dept every other month on average is ridiculous. Mysterious”Service and Check Engine” light are nerve racking. I do my best to keep my vehicles taken care of. If interest rates were comparable this would be going down the road …

Destroyed a head in my last truck so not sure about good fortune but warranty took care of it. With so many connected systems on these new trucks it seems one failure can cause many issues. Hope they get yours figured out soon.

I had many issues with my 21 PB and was at the dealership way too often sometimes with the same issue. I finally tried a different dealership about 45 minutes away and they have resolved any issue that I was having. I think it boils down to the amount of training that the dealership is providing the service technicians. With the amount of electronics that we have in our trucks we have to have well trained technicians to repair them. I must say that I was at the point of moving on too but now that my issues have been resolved, I really like my truck and it’s the most driven vehicle at my house. Good luck.

This being my first Ford the only dealer here in Lafayette,IN. I guess I could look in Indy but not sure if their reputations are better.

This being my first Ford the only dealer here in Lafayette,IN. I guess I could look in Indy but not sure if their reputations are better.
I went to Roush dealer for all my warranty work. They don't depend on service department to keep the lights on with all the markup on those cars/trucks. Opposite side of city from where I live.

We do have a lot of dealers in Indy but I'm not sure any one is better than others.

Welcome to the club I have 21 F-150 Lariat and I think that my 79 yellow Pinto had better quality
