Dealership drilled hole in the frame to mount a cable

Warranty repair, Ford probably says it’s an hour in their work manual when it’s actually 4 hours. They then just take money out of the techs pockets as he spends 4 hours but they will only pay him for 1 hour, so at the end of the shift he gets paid 3-4 hours for 8 hours of work. This is more common these days and you end up with work looking like this. Often times it is Ford/GM etc that foster this quality of work, because they pick pocket the techs left and right if they don’t cut corners on warranty repairs…

I would personally demand they do a nicer clean-up paint job on that area with a top notch product (POR-15). Black Rust-Oleum is not an equivalent to Fords E-Coat and There is no excuse for that poor quality warranty rate issues or not.

Well that certainly makes more sense now. Thanks for chiming in. My warranty is up in a month so I doubt I'll have to worry about it anymore. Honestly I'd rather redo it myself and know that it's been done properly with a good epoxy.
