Very nice work! I'm curious about the jump seat storage, do you have a part number for that type seat? I use the under seat storage on my RCSB, but it'd be way more convenient have storage directly under the arm rest.

Don’t know part numbers since I found somebody selling a full jump seat with the storage on marketplace and swapped the upper storage over. This thread should have all the info you’re looking for:

arm rest storage stuff for diy or find one online. There is a thread on here that details how to do this to your non upper storage jump seat.

Wanted the SuperCab to get it in the garage so Ford said, “no leather for you.” Great job! I’m open to replacing the seats which I saw on another thread, reupholstering or high quality leather seat covers. It’s my daily driver so the covers might be the most practical.

Personally I’d recommend reupholstering your seats over covers. Price would be higher but it’s definitely worth it, plus you’d be getting actual leather seating surfaces. Most covers that claim to be “leather” aren’t made from actual hides.

Two questions- how long would you expect the truck to be out of service for a seat reupholstering? Any shops you (or anyone else) highly recommend in Southern California? I live near Ventura. 2025 Supercap XLT.

There’s covers then there are covers. Some covers are just that, they slip over the original seating material. Then there are covers like Katskins. You remove the original outer covering and then put the new ones over the original substrate. I would think a professional installer could have the replacement done in a day. Many have done it theirselves(themselves?)

Most upholstery shops should be able to get you in and out same day, sometimes even half a day is all they need. Unfortunately can’t help you out with recommendations as I’m located in Canada and don’t know any installers in the states

*Update:

Got my console swap done today. Took a while to find one somewhat local to me, this one out of a 2022 overall very good condition considering it came from a wrecker. Had to order a couple parts from Ford to complete the swap, hvac trim and the storage tray left of the cupholders since the console had the shifter but I wasn’t interested in removing my column shift.
Other little thing I did was swap the lock cylinder from my under seat storage over to the new console lid, so it’s lockable with my original truck key.

It was expensive but I’m looking at it as an extension of the purchase of a truck I hope to own 10+ years.

Went with the thicker XT leather in Black and added the Degreez seat heating and cooling which is really nice. Feels like a different truck from behind the wheel. They sent a mobile install truck to my house. They were late both days. The first day they had issues and had to drive an hour each way back to the shop. But I’m a patient guy and really only care that it was done right. On day two their manager showed up and worked. He was a rock star and my confidence in the install got a big boost. Not sure if that was just luck or the company is keeping an eye of this team but it worked out well for me.
