Current Shipping Delays

I ordered 11/16, got the built email 1/26, and ever since then it’s been shipping delays. The VVR shows it’s still in Dearborn but now it’s on a plant hold.

I don’t quite know why a built truck would go on Plant Hold. Maybe they canabalized it for parts. No frigging idea. I’m pissed.

They did not take parts off. All the parts/modules on your truck are attached to your VIN. They cannot remove and install on another truck.

Plant hold means something did not pass final inspection or failed soon after.

You are waiting on a replacement part most likely. A part preventing them from releasing it. Like say the dash went black when they went to move it to shipping ramp. Electronic components tend to fail early or last a long time.

It sucks ass big time. I get that. But they are not just keeping it for grins, or using it for parts.

I'm curious when I'll get a new delivery estimate. My truck moved 3 miles down the road to the rail yard on Monday. It's still there, so it won't be delivered to my dealer by Monday.

I just hope for my sake that if my truck is ever delivered that it’s not a dirty, 100+ mile shuttle truck.

I hope not, for all of us.
I wont have the option to walk away either. Sold my tow vehicle back when I got my production date. I knew it was a risk, but I never dreamed camping trips the end of July and mid Aug would be at risk.

My truck is still sitting in Wentzville at the railyard waiting to be transported to the dealer in Ellisville about 15 miles away. Tomorrow it will have been there a week.

I wont have the option to walk away either. Sold my tow vehicle back when I got my production date. I knew it was a risk, but I never dreamed camping trips the end of July and mid Aug would be at risk.

Same. Sold my truck based on a delivery date provided by Ford’s marketing department. I’m so frustrated with @Ford Motor Company I don’t even know what to do. I’ll be lucky to have MY 2022 truck before MY 2023 trucks start scheduling, or worse.

It is very possible that this is the last Ford product that I’ll ever own. Sadly, Ford could care less. Their idea of customer service is a joke. It’s utterly lost.

When I email Ford Corporate, they only call to tell me not to email, aren’t empathetic to situation - they could care less. They provide no information, no recourse. Nothing.

Meanwhile my friends that have ordered Jeeps, Rams, Silverado’s, and Sierras well after I ordered my F150 have all received their trucks without a hitch. Truly makes you wonder. Sorry to complain and rant so much, but not much else to do.

That's like mine as well, been sitting for a week. Mine is using United Roads and I called them just to see any info. Customer service said lack of drivers. Have had two deliveries of vehicles since mine got off the train this week. Maybe next week.

I emailed last week and was contacted today. Hang in there.

That said, all they said was "We are keeping an eye on it and it looks like it will ship out soon."

Well yeah, I'll believe that when it happens.

They're too busy chatting on their yacht about how to squeeze a bit more for that 10% margin they've been on about......so they can upgrade their Gulfstream
