Your truck shipped with Norfolk Southern? Mine shipped 7/4 with them bound for Jacksonville. It arrived on 7/12. My truck as just sat there missing two delivery windows and now I’m on the third. I think I’m more aggravated knowing it’s only 3 hours away and actually shipped vs it just not been shipped.

My worry is that because it’s in a third parties hands now it’s even more so slipping through cracks because Ford can just as easily say it’s out of their hands at this point.

According to chat, I got my rail car number on Monday, no tracing information available when I call the hotline still. I tried my car number with CSX today, thats a no go. Not sure whats up?

If it wasn't for the $3500 in rebates I probably would have bought a similar truck at another dealer, this week.

That likely is going from a 21 order to a 22 because Ford couldn’t build it before the end of the model year.

I got a $2500 for being a loyal ford customer sent back in April, literally like 4 days after I ordered and the dealer got them to agree to it since it hadn’t been accepted yet by ford. Then it was $500 when I ordered and I guess ford added another $500 later as a second incentive for people who had ordered. Not sure about that one since my dealer just told me they got another $500 for me.

See I didn’t know about all that with Norfolk Southern. What I did was call and said I was someone from my dealership (got idea from this thread) and they told me all the information I needed.

Unsure as to why, but my truck’s rail car tracking hasn’t updated since 7/20 when at about 12:00pm it was at/or passed Decatur, IL. No updates since then. Unsure if that means it’s been sitting there, or if it’s moving but not by/or to any locations that update the tracker, or if the tracker is messed up..

When I tracked my truck on the train, it sometimes sat in transfer yards for couple of days. Other days, I was surprised at how far it moved.

Could have switched rail company there.

Mine shipped 7/13 from KC plant on BNSF. I created an account on the BNSF rail website and tracked via VIN or railcar number.

It got to Gibson Railyard Indiana on 7/18.

It sat here 3 days. I lost site of tracking during this time. I have no info on what rail company its transferred to.

Final destitation is CSX railyard in Lordstown Ohio. This is 9 miles from my dealer. I figured since CSX railyard was destination, it was transferred to a CSX train.

I called the CSX track number and entered the same railcar number. The rail car made it to Willard Ohio rail yard 5am this morning.

I am not 100% my truck is till on that railcar, but it makes sense it is. I dont see it being unloaded at Gibson yard, to be loaded in another. Plus the destination of that railcar is Lordstown. Chances are it is.

Rail sucks. The trains go railyard to railyard, not shortest route. And spend time at each yard. KC to Chicago to Lordstown is not a direct route. And it took 6 days from KC to Chicago. Stopped at every railyard. Crazy.

Is Flat Rock exclusive to Rail shipping for F150s coming over from DTP? My WS is Convoy & delivery is local in Detroit. Interesting...

I believe so I don’t see any tracks leading into the Dearborn plant when I zoom in on the bread crum my truck leaves when tracking it thru ford pass only Flat Rock plant .

I called a representative at NS, my truck is in Conway PA, not Michigan. The 800 number tracker doesn't work for my railcar number for some reason. So another 327 miles to go.
