I have the truxedo roll up, that's if my memory goes back that far!
I have ordered a BAK Revolver X4S, based on a couple of them that I have looked at on local trucks. I sincerely hope that I have made a good decision. Time will tell.

Sounds like we can all get back together in a year & compare notes. That will probably be about the time when we know if we really got what we wanted.
I habe experience with the ELEVATE Rack system I bought, I dont remember why I decided on the truxedo tonneau. I did a decent amount of research before deciding though. Your right though, a year of use will definitely be enough time to rate your decision

Same thing here for buying parts, Talon skid plate for catalytic coverage, Rsi EVO Smartcap on order, cheap roll up tonneau cover till the cap arrives, backup beep delete materials, rear wheel well liner, dash cam. My truck is possibly being delivered to the dealership tomorrow.

7 emails sent finally got a response back from Ford last night and my truck shipped today.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I can tell you that persistence pays off. The lady that I was talking to after most of my multitude of emails, made it perfectly clear that she did not want to talk to me anymore, the last day I spoke to her. She got my truck shipped the same day.

Still awaiting shipping since the built email on 5/19, so I just emailed those three folks from Ford. Will see if it makes a difference. Current estimate is still July 28-August 3 which would be fantastic if I can get it by then, but not holding my breath

What Tonneau covers did you guys end up going with?
I went with the gator sr1 roll up also 6.5’ bed like most everyone else.

These are the folks that I emailed detailing my experience & concerns regarding my ordered truck. Every couple of emails they had a nice lady in the executive offices call me. About 3 weeks into emailing consistently, & getting the calls back, my truck finally got shipped. It is hard to know for sure if it made any difference or not. It started off being pretty much like talking to the marketing group, where they say that they only know what it says in the system, & that there is nothing else they can do. I will tell you that the lady finally acknowledged that I was eating up a lot of time for them all, & that she would she what she could do to assist me. The day that she said that to me, she called me again an hour & a half later to tell me that my truck was shipping that day.

Believe me, I understand your frustration. I waited 7 months for my truck (3 months before it shipped after being built) after Ford accepted my order & there are others that have posted here who waited more than a year, . Having said that, I would encourage you to be polite, but persistent in your communications. Don't accept clearly untrue statements, like "We are waiting on parts", as being the truth. Ford is producing a truck a minute off the line & have been consistently for a few months. They may need to get more parts, but they clearly have parts coming in. The next common statement that I got was, "There is a shortage of trucks, trains, diesel, drivers, conductors, & other logistical issues keeping Ford from being able to ship your truck". I do believe that is true, but when Ford has been building a truck every minute for months, the vast majority have shipped out fairly quickly. Ford has built 66k trucks since your truck came off the line. They ain't all sitting at the factory.

Well gentleman we seem to have some action , I was alerted about 5 minutes ago via ford pass that it is now active along with navigation and alexa so im assuming somebody was in the truck moving it and hit some buttons lol .......... Lacation is still Dearborn .
