Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

Question. I searched but did not see. I just picked up a 23 lariat lightning. Has ambient lighting from factory but the cup holders are not lit. Does anyone know if there is a plug under the cup holders if I get the lighted ones or would I need a t harness to go from one of the other positions to the cups?

No, you need the harness.

According to the new 2025 order guide ambient lighting will only be available in the 502a package for the Lariat trim. No more factory ambient lighting for the 500a and 501a.

Yeah they just keep chipping away. I’ve been a ford fan for a long time but I don’t like some of the things they are doing.

damn!! they are really stripping this thing down! at least ive already added ambient lighting to a 2024 XLT so im sure I can help on lariats.
