  1. Resale Value - Hybrid XLT vs Non Hybrid Lariat

Thanks for the replies. This is not for me but an old friend. Turns out she got to the dealer and leather was already added to the XLT free of charge. She plans on leasing the XLT hybrid.
  2. Resale Value - Hybrid XLT vs Non Hybrid Lariat

She switches every three years or so.
  3. Resale Value - Hybrid XLT vs Non Hybrid Lariat

Both are crew cabs 4x4 trucks. One is a 302a Hybrid XLT and the other is a 501a Lariat with a regular 3.5 engine. Which truck would retain its value better or is it about even? Thanks
  4. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

Yep, while Models like the Mustang and Explorer still have color changing ambient lighting.
  5. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

According to the new 2025 order guide ambient lighting will only be available in the 502a package for the Lariat trim. No more factory ambient lighting for the 500a and 501a.
  6. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

I get what you are saying but I think facts and figures are important for towing and hauling. I always start off shopping base trucks. That is where Ford continues to win me over. Ford offers their top shelf engine in the base trim and it is also the most capable base truck of all brands. Chevy...

  8. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

The fairest fight I could find was from 2019. A Silverado RST 5.3 vs F150 XLT 5.0. The F150 weighed 4725 pounds and the Silverado weighed 5226 pounds.
  9. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

Just watched the GM 5.3 and Ford 5.0 tow trailers up the Ike Gauntlet on TFL trucks YouTube channel. The 5.0 was cruising at 60mph at 3500rpm. The 5.3 was cruising at 60mph at 4000rpm. Not only was the F150 cruising at a lower rpm but TFL struggled to get the Chevy to downshift. Per Motor Trend...
  10. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

True, there is overlap but with good reason and it actually goes for all of the brands. The main reason being that Ford offers its top shelf power trains throughout the entire lineup. Not only can you get the 5.0 and 3.5 in the XLT but also the 3.5 hybrid. On the other hand GMC will not let you...
  11. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

The SLT is not a direct competitor to the XLT, that would be the SLE. Also the numbers you mentioned aren't matching up. The base SLT with the 5.3 and no options added starts at 61k.
  12. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

Thanks but if it's not possible via Forescan then nevermind.
  13. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

Been a while but has anyone cracked the code for color changing on the 2022+ models?
  14. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

I actually did it purposely. My 2016 had some mood lighting above the glovebox. I love the new interior but the glove box area looked so dim at night compared to the rest of the interior. Especially after seeing some light in that area for 7 years or so.
  15. Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

I had someone adjust my camera for night pics. This is how it really looks in person.
