Yeah sounds like your services are going to be needed more and more. ?

it wont be simple plug and play if they remove the connectors though. it will require forscan changes and making connections at the BCM. Not everyone is comfortable with that.

Yeah that’s true. Definitely more involved.

Yeah they just keep chipping away. I’ve been a ford fan for a long time but I don’t like some of the things they are doing.

Yep, while Models like the Mustang and Explorer still have color changing ambient lighting.

Ambient cup holders, media bin light and glovebox light all reinstalled back in my new 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat! A huge thanks again to @JHForman812 for the harness again (this is my 2nd one through him on another new truck) absolutely loving it! These things should’ve been included with the price tag we pay but as you all know—it is what it is.

**Just a note to 24+ F-150 owners, you’ll need to remove the media bin and cut a cutout for the media bin light as the 2021 media bin with cutout won’t work. This is due to the different style wireless charger.

I just did a search in forums -titles only for both cup holder (2) and cup holder light (1) and both searches returned this thread. It has been a few hours since you posted this perhaps some site maintenance behind the scenes?

Yeah, I've been having problems with the search feature for the last week now. It's annoying. Is there a section in the forum where we can point this out? A lot of my searches are coming back empty. Very odd

I did the same for my 2022, but the cup holder lights are the circle light only. I assume the rubber inserts are aftermarket?

Rubber inserts are OEM, came with the truck as it should! My 2021 and 2022 both came with rubber inserts in the cup holders.

As for the clear “F-150 Lariat” and “EcoSwoosh”, ordered them off Etsy, from a guy name Colby. Put them on top of the ford oem rubber inserts and the ambient light will light up the clear inserts when it’s on—it uses the cup holder ambients to show the clear inserts. Link is below for better clarification! **Side note; he also does any customization you wish, can even do a company logo or anything you want

I know its a long shot but does anyone out there have a spare HC3Z-14A318-E harness available? Its the small harness that plugs into the light sockets on the bottom of the cup holders. I purchased the cup holder off the internet and even though the pics showed it came with the harness, there wasn't one on it. I'm having a hard time finding it for less than a small fortune. Just PM me if you do. Thanks
