Yea if you're looking color change you'll have to with the 15-17 OEM lights. If not that's a good deal. I will say i don't think the visual light from mine goes far enough back on the bottom cubby as the 2021 OEM lights, I could be wrong. But with the door closed and all the other light in the cab it doesn't bother me too much, these pics don't do it justice, lol

Question for the group. I just installed the cup holder, glove box, and media bin lights. Install went smoothly, got everything re-installed but now the media light won't turn off.

Lights off, media light stays on. Lock truck and walk away, light remains on. Any thoughts?

You’re not waiting long enough ? media bin/glove box/large console light remain on 12-15 mins by design from ford. There’s no forscan setting to change this that I’ve found. My super duty is exactly the same I’ve never timed it but it’s definitely 12 or more

lol I’m a night shift worker so quick respond at night is no problem!! Glad you saw it turn off. I was caught off guard by this also, it’s just how ford has it programmed!!

Is anyone able to confirm if whether or not you can add the ambient lights to thedoor panels on a 302a xlt? I know the wiring probably isn’t there so it would need to be ran but I’m curious If the mounting locations are there in xlt panels

mounting locations will be there, its just getting the wires through to all the doors that will be a pain.

The doors don’t fit 100%. The harness for the doors are a little bit shorter and don’t clip on the holder spots. I used these parts numbers

I think your really confusing/messing up what you need lol

you need these 4 parts for the doors
FL3Z-13C724-D Wire Assembly (Driver-side front door)
-FL3Z-13C724-E Wire Assembly (Passenger side, rear door)
-FL3Z-13C724-F Wire Assembly (Driver side, rear door)
-FL3Z-14A318-Y Wire Assembly (Passenger side, front door)

you need these 4 for the foot well lights
FL3Z-14A318-L Wiring Assembly
FL3Z-14A318-N Wiring Assembly
FL3Z-14A411-F Courtesy Lamp (Passenger footwell)
FL3Z-14A318-Q Courtesy Lamp

you need these for the cup holders
fl3z-14a318-v

some of these youll have to cut and splice the connectors onto. If you already have ambient lighting in your truck these will be all the parts you need to make it color change. keep in mind youll have to modify some of them.

Question. I searched but did not see. I just picked up a 23 lariat lightning. Has ambient lighting from factory but the cup holders are not lit. Does anyone know if there is a plug under the cup holders if I get the lighted ones or would I need a t harness to go from one of the other positions to the cups?
