Cup holder light installation / media bin light / glove box light / ambient lighting change

2023 F-150 Tremor 402A package. So I ordered one FL3Z harness, the rear passenger, just to make sure everything work as I needed it to. Went into Forscan and made changes in APIM, BCM was already coded for Ice Blue and Red. Removed panel, plugged in new light harness and shut door. Started the truck, enabled parking lights so ambient lights would be on. Ice blue light in both spots. Then opened door and switched to red. Excellent!!

Hooked everything back up, put paneling back on, waited for night to take the pics, lol. Got the other 3 harnesses on the way.

Finally got my ambient lighting installed in the cup holders & media bin, as well as the light for the glove box. Many thanks to @JHForman812
Took me about 3hrs since I misread something so I was looking in the wrong place but John got me sorted out and I finished it all. Very pleased with how it turned out.

Tear down was easier than I was expecting.

Some careful Dremel work, then finished it off with a sharp blade (box cutter) since the plastic is soft enough. Gave me some clean lines.

The light installed, nice and snug.

Can anyone verify that I can add the door lights to a 23 302a truck?
Or can someone send me a picture of the locations so I can look at my doors and. See if I can ad them?

Yes, I had the single dot light in the cubby under the armrest. Had the open slot in the lower cubby for the nonexistent second light.

So... Found what I'd say is a pretty good deal on some door lights because I wanted lower cubby lit, too... But not sure if they'll work. They look the exact same. Any thoughts on these:

Those should work. People use the 2017 color change ones in the doors so no reason those wont work.

I have the upper door lights already, just curious from somebody that added lower door lights, too, if they think it's worth it

I had just the upper light in my 23, but felt the bottom light should have been added. Guessing Ford being cheap again. Decided to get the 15-17 yr model due to the ability for color change when I opened the door. The overall lengths for the new versus my OEM are tad bit shorter but you can make them fit.

Getting all 4 for $100 is really good, especially if there's no issue. Do they have free returns?? Pulling to door panels isn't that difficult, just take your time.

He’s looking at blue only lights in that auction. Just to be clear, you only get the red open warning with color change lights.
