I doubt I would have known the difference between the SGS and the MTI enclosure. When I drove back to North Dakota after the install, I listened to every genre possible because the sound was so clean. My ears were sore after the ten hour drive. I listen to foreigner, police, Eminem, journey...
I came across @Jbcaindo on this forum and reached out to see what could be done to enhance my 2022 F150 audio experience. After some conversing back and forth, we settled on a 3 Way system utilizing 8 channel DSP, mti behind seat sub with twin 6.5 woofers, added dash speakers. Jon just...
You should be golden at +20 or higher. I've read people having problems at +44 with some rub on the upper control arm. Just something to be cognizant about.
No rub on crash bars. I had the molded front mud flaps on and had to remove them due to their thickness. Minor trim with scissors on the mobile piece of the front valance. And I only have a 2 inch fox front level that probably only gave me 1.5 inches.
You would be fine with +18 and the tire size you mention. Some trimming of the rubber on the front valance. Would have trouble with mud flaps if they were installed on the front. I'm running 295/70r18 and +20. I have no issues and my tires are just a bit taller. Good luck and hopefully...
Balancing act of wants vs needs vs expedible income. I'm just now trying to convince myself to put $5k towards upgrading my 2022. Good luck in the decision making process.
Sounds good stereo has some great you tube installation videos. Believe they point out that the block off plates are the minimum you would want to accomplish. They also sell kits depending on how far you want to go with additional sound deadening.
You should do a search for that tire size. There are a few strings of posts on this subject. My gut tells me you should be looking for 12mm wheel spacers to get an effective +30mm offset.
I have never been impressed with my headlights. After reading this thread, I finally went out and checked my headlights at 25 ft and found I was around 9 inches low. Even after putting on the 2 inch level. Took it out on the highway and abracadabra, I can see. Tomorrow night will be aiming...
I put fox level kit for my 2022 502a along with 295/70r18 tires. I have had no problems with what you have described. I know that some dealers that install the level kits make the modifications for the extra height in regards to adaptive and lane centering. I did not have to make any...
