The 'thousands' of harness combinations is something that's being simplified in the trucks right now for MY24. You could have pulled the harness off your original seat and swapped them without issue to rectify the issue FWIW (not difficult to do, raise up seat all the way if you choose this).I had it at the dealer, they even went so far as a full software reboot. SInce the raptor doesnt come with power running boards there may have been a difference with the plugs under the seat, everything else worked though.
Check the raptor's seat, there's 2 connection points
I've got a lariat harness that doesn't have the needed wires and 2 platinum ones that do. The only thing required to swap harnesses is to remove the panel where the controls are. It's 2 screws and easier to remove than install. I've done it a dozen times now, the first 2 times was a pain to get the side cover back on. No cushion removal required. Carefully set them onto their back paying attention to the plastic trim that goes around the seat's feet.
