Anyone else have an issue where when you are in something other than drive or park, the shifter has slop in it? like 1/4-1/2 inch worth? It doesn't come out of gear or anything, but you can move it back and forth when its in neutral or reverse. I just don't know if that's how these are, and if its supposed to be that way or a problem?

I have the play even in park I'm pretty sure...I assume it's by design but not sure why.

Yes I do as well. I'll have the dealer look at it I guess.

It can actually fall out of reverse into park, he shows it in the video below at 6:13.. he's backing into the driveway and it falls into park, bringing him to a jerky halt:

I had an issue the other day where I know I was in the Reverse notch, but the indicator next to the shifter was lit up for Neutral and the truck started rolling forward. I moved the shifter forward a bit (without a lock-in notch) and then the light switched to reverse and my rear view camera came on. A little concerning, have to keep an eye on it.

Interesting. I've tried to push it out of gear or neutral after it latched in, and it hasn't done that yet. It stays in whatever position. Just moves around. Granted I have not used a ton of force, but enough that if it was going to pop out of gear, it would have imo.

I think dude in video above didn't get it fully into reverse to begin with
