Confusing Ford Email Sync4a/Ford Power-Up

Did anybody who doesn’t have a 4a vehicle get this 4a related update email today?

I am guessing either Ford made a mistake, doesn’t keep their 4/4a mailing lists separate, or also has a 4 update coming and botched the email?

Ford marketing is tard -- You're not getting sync 4a screens on anything other than 15.5" screens, aka MME / Lightning higher trims. If I could swap my 15" for a 12" and physical climate buttons, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

As for which screen is which -- it's a variable. The only difference I've seen w/ 4a is phone as key, and that's made possible by the RFA which I'd be surprised if @Jesse-Infotainment isn't on the road to trying to get to work if he hasn't already given up on it for other reasons.

The funny thing is that it also says specifically F150. Clearly they made a mistake so no idea if this was intended for cars with Sync 4A, or if F150s have some big updates coming as well:

I got it. The link wasn’t particularly helpful in explaining what might be changing (if anything). I guess that I’ll figure it out if something actually gets pushed out.

Oh, they’re not. I am 99.9% confident it’s an email list issue. The other 0.1% is them having meant theres 4 -and- 4a updates coming, and they forgot to mention 4.

Definitely wont be getting Sync 4A on a Sync 4 system, I’m sure @Jesse-Infotainment can verify this.

I don't know about any of you, but I feel so special learning I received the email and some didn't. Just kidding. In all seriousness, I hope Ford doesn't send out their minions in the middle of the night to swap out my landscape screen for that portrait view model. I like mine just the way it is; although, I really wish I could watch Netflix on it while I'm in town stuck at a traffic light?
