Howdy all, just noticed this evening that my trucks headlights had condensation in them after a few hours driving. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

I don’t think the headlights are sealed. So they are prone to condensation.

My 21 Lariat does it sometimes.

My brand new aftermarket tail lights do that. They say it’s totally normal. Now water is not normal

Yes filling up with water wouldn’t be normal.

I have seen several threads on her saying condensation is normal.

You can always swing by the dealer and voice your concern. But we all know how must dealer are 👎

Headlights aren’t sealed & are supposed to “breathe.” If under warranty I’d take to dealership & make them/Ford repair or replace.

My opinion is that this is normal.
Yesterday was fairly cold and unusually humid for Utah, imo it makes sense.
It does clearly state in the owners manual that this is normal as well. My rigid SAE fogs do something similar this time of year and they say it’s normal as well.
It’s super annoying but I guess I have to live with it.

My experience is that this is normal with some models under some weather conditions. I had a Mercedes S550 that would do it sometimes. It should go away in a couple of days. If it doesn’t, I’d go to dealer.
