I have looked into this noise as much as possible on threads here and I can’t find anything to match exactly what mine is doing. It’s not the hybrid cold start TSB. Tranny has awful cold start noise mostly when cold, dose not have to be freezing. Shifts find and goes away when warm.

Not a loose shield or clamp. Already checked and had dealer look at at it but claimed they can’t get it to make the noise. Also, it has not been cold at all in VA.
The closest I could find is maybe it’s the aux pump priming or messing up when it’s cold from the auto off and start system for when you are stopped in traffic. I’ll attach pic of where the noise sounds like it’s coming from and a video of cold start and then a video of every start and sounds like something rattles. My truck is not manufactured (Dec 21) during the TSB for the loose bolt recently posted.

Truck is 22 tremor and noise started about 8k miles and has gotten worse. Appreciate any insight or help with figuring this out because looks like I will have to do the hunting instead of the dealer.

‘21 lariat SCREW, 3.5 here with 37k miles and I have a similar noise but only at 13mph on up. Put it on jack stands today so I could put it in gear and experiment with the various combinations of speed vs transfer case selections. Ruled out brakes, drive shaft, rear end and front hub/axles. It’s either xmsn or transfer case. Your attached videos sound very similar and I can feel it through the floor board. Calling dealer tomorrow.

The pump that you created the red box around is not the auxiliary pump.
Instead it's the main pump and is driven by the straight cut gear that is in the smaller red square.
Also note the yellow-ish plastic shroud that surrounds the larger gear on the pump itself?
That plastic shroud is known to make contact with the gear itself and makes the noise you would imagine that a metal gear/wheel would make rubbing/grinding up against plastic.

You WOULD hear such a noise coming from that area and seemingly just inside the plastic pan.

I've not had one of those pumps in my hand to see how the plastic shroud attaches and how much play it might have in it, but I know of a fella that purchased an aftermarket pan and the tolerances for how deep the pan was supposed to be was off. As a result it seems the pan caused contact with the plastic shroud and the gear made the grinding noise. He immediately dropped the new pan and found wet saturated scrapings from the shroud already being distributed where fluid is pre-filter. He had a cleanup job to perform!

By the way, the auxiliary pump is electric and is located on the rearmost area of that photo. It's laying in there right behind the 4 cylindrical silver solenoids.
