A lot of people have said that the catalytic converters are too restrictive for the supercharger.

Roush explained it differently. They said they were seeing “…large oscillations in engine torque and exhaust flow potentially causing engine or catalyst damage. A revised calibration provides smoother operation…”
I have installed their update and I can see a difference in logs and can feel changes at wot.
I still need to update the other thread just havent had time.

I can confirm it takes special plugs from what roush has told me BUT at 17k, I've not done a change personally to put my eyes on them

Yes, the roush kit calls for specific spark plugs.

per emails with Roush, they dont require changing for 100k miles.

Heat damage or? Someone needs to make a air/oil rad kit for trans cooling. @Ford Motor Company needs to tell ford performance to put together the raptor / police SSV trans cooling kit in a package like the tremor skid plate was done so we can save 50% over the individual factory parts and get proper trans cooling.

Im having a hard time understanding how your torque converter got damaged. Did they say how?

I have a 2022 F150 Roush with the supercharger, 19k miles, got the code for catalytic converter issue, then misfire. Local ford dealership replaced that side cats, still had misfires, said the catalytic converter material went into cylinder and was on the valves. Roush has said they will warranty it, they just need to data share with that dealer and get all the info and stuff. What did they end up doing for your engine? Did you get a remanufactured engine or did they actually replace it with a new 5.0, or did you get a roush crate 5.0 with the forged internals? Also, did roush take it to their place in michigan, or did they have the roush ford dealer do the work? How long did it take? this dealer has been dragging their feet, theyve had the truck for. over 2 weeks now. I feel like if left up to them I would never get it back.
