Dang I forgot all about this!
I had a few hiccups in the beginning with the truck getting put into limp mode, when I had an off the shelf tune loaded. Cobb sent a revised tune and have had no issues since. I love the fact that I can connect my Fishhouse/RV and change to a tow tune in minutes without having to mess around with my ecu. The stg 2 93 performance tune is wild!

Very nice! did you get the tcm tuning as well? I so how doe the shifting/shift points feel?

It does have two settings other than stock to change shift strategy which firms up shifts and seems to be more precise to which gear you’re in, but It wasn’t an added option or cost more.
Im sure Winfield with goosetuned will probably throw a little of his sauce into the shift strategy for you though.

Thats good to hear. My truck has a light throttle tip in stutter in the high gears (its a 3.5) and I called and spoke with winfield he thinks the trans tuning will solve that. I hope so since ford cant seem to fix it and it drives me crazy. Makes my $60,000 truck feel like crap.

can someone explain to me in simple terms what these tuning units do? do i need to add other physical components to the truck like an air intake, intercooler, etc prior to using this or do i just order one and i'm good to go? i've never tuned anything before and i'm getting a bit confused with all the info i've been reading.
