Climate bar on 12” screen

Hey all,

ive tried enabling the climate bar on my truck and don’t seem to have any success. I enabled the unreal theme and that works fine. I then enable the climate bar and nothing. I’ve reset the apim via forscan and the power/forward seek buttons and still nothing. I’m trying to get it on there in preparation for my heated steering wheel addition. None of that’s installed yet though. @superfordman @Livnitup any thoughts? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I think that’s just the icon telling you whether the heated wheel is turned on or not. The other option is to tell the apim it’s a super duty and it’ll show up in the right hand screen stack but I think the climate bar looks cleaner. May have to put a post out there seeing if anyone wants to rent out a mongoose plus cable so I can update all my modules.

Yeah I would agree that if you can't get the climate bar to appear then it's likely that your Sync version isn't high enough. I ran your VIN and see you have several available updates in FDRS including IPMA and once that one is done then I believe others like GWM & APIM will then show up. I do see that you got an OTA update last month but you're still only on Power Up 2.7.4 and if memory serves me correctly that was available in July/August so you're substantially behind.

Yup, try to get 22228 first then see what that does. I think before we even though you needed that version for unreal but turns out you didn't, but you most likely need it for other features.

I reloaded my original asbiult data thinking something else I changed is affecting it, then made the unreal and climate bar changes only and still nothing.

You can't force the OTAs; you're at the mercy of Ford so if you're waiting on doing the HSW mod until you get the climate bar, then I would definitely go the FDRS route and update everything. Doing this should then put you on the path for speedy OTA updates in the future.

appreciate the response, i'm technically waiting on my backordered SCCM for the HSW mod but this stuff is like a puzzle to me, not knowing why it's not working is gonna bug the heck out of me until it works.

Once you do the outstanding updates then more will immediately show up in FDRS like GWM and APIM updates so you need the newer APIM ones for climate bar.
