So now that I've been driving my truck for a couple of days, let me just concur with everyone else, this truck is amazing! So quiet. The interior is beautiful. The ride is smooth, and all the technology is very cool to play with. I did have trouble with my phone overheating on the wireless charger, when using the Apple CarPlay navigation. You may want to keep an extra cord in the truck, if you have the wireless charger. No issues with overheat since I got home. It's been fun playing with the electric driving. Definitely a learning curve there. Like "I'm creeping along at 25, and it still won't kick over". One time I was going 45, and it switched to electric driving. LOL, going to keep working on my technique!

If you get a little time try giving the Ford navigation a couple of turns. I actually was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. My Garmin may have met its match.

I may be hot on your heels. No email yet saying my truck has been shipped but the Ford tracker today shows it has shipped. Once I get the official email I will update the status also. Who would have ever thought 2023 is the year of the 2022 F 150 getting shipped! ?

Damn, that is absolutely awful. Glad to hear that nobody was injured, but events like this really put things like waiting for a new vehicle into perspective.

Things like this remind us, that if waiting 10 months for a truck is the worst of our problems, we are blessed. Glad everyone is okay, and here's hoping the home repair goes well!

I’m sorry for your friend and I am glad this helped you achieve a bit of perspective.

Being a USMC vet and having been in direct combat and seeing what 3rd world countries are actually like, it really grinds my gears when I hear people complaining about wait times, rust on undercarriage, force deletes, customer service etc. all of these issues are still a choice to some extent.

Don’t get me wrong, this stuff is frustrating, and I can understand why people are unhappy about it. But when it becomes part of your character and personality, it just shows how spoiled we are as Americans or our Canadian brothers/sisters to the north.

This is what I do for a living. General contractor. He just had a newborn and has a toddler. We were just talking maybe it’s time for a second story ?

Yea don’t take what I said as a personal attack on yourself or anyone. Like I said, I’d be pretty frustrated too. It’s when people let it consume them and they make it into a bigger deal than it actually is that I just facepalm and shake my head.

But that is a long ass time!
