I’ve had this intermittently since I bought my 2021 last year, probably once or twice a month on average. I’ve noticed on at least one occasion the lamps were not pointed in the same direction (one was low) when it happened. Took it in recently and they replaced the LED modules for both headlights. Two days after getting it back it happened twice in a row on stop/start sequences at red lights.
The lights should not go through the calibration sequence again when the start stop system activates at a stop light.

That makes sense, just sharing my experience. The fault popped up right when the car started from the light, I cleared it, and then the same thing happened a few lights later. Not the first time I’ve seen it from stop/start sequence, but was the first time back to back in a short 15 min drive.

Here are the codes… I got the car back Friday, cleared all codes Saturday (no, the dealer didn’t bother clearing anything), and this happened Sunday morning. Dash notification photos taken at 10:04 AM and 10:11AM.

That's what mine kept showing and the dealership and the Ford engineering people had no idea how to fix it. They spent months on the problem replacing parts and troubleshooting wiring and modules. It ended up being the headlight that was always pointing down was defective and they replaced it. The side not having the problem was replaced first but did not correct the problem.

Good to know. This a cool report. Was it generated by the dealer or can you pull it online?

These reports were provided by @rugedraw while my truck was always sitting at the dealership with the problem. He helped a lot with these so I could prove the problem was happening and call the dealer out each time they said it was fixed. The truck is always reporting to the cloud and he can access that info to see what's going on. My truck rarely showed the "Check Headlamp System" message but always had the headlights aiming wrong and these reports backed up my claim.
