Check engine light on.

Check engine light came on this morning in my 2023 Powerboost. Dealer doesn’t have open appointments until July. Anyone know if I’ll be fine driving it that long? Here are the messages from FordPass.

For the record, yes I called my local dealer and they can’t advise if it’s safe or not to continue to drive the truck without first seeing it. First available appointment is JULY 5th, which I’m scheduled to be camping 200 miles from home and yes I planned on my new $75k truck being able to pull my camper there and back.

Find a local autoparts place that will read the OBD port. maybe its something silly like a loose oil cap or something. I am assuming a PB has still has an old fashioned port you can plug in to.

well, I just read your screenshot ( doh) !, Evap trouble, eh. I would google that and start wiggling connectors myself. but then I dont have a PB and have no clue what that means

Yes, the Powerboost has the standard OBD port.

Manual says emission issue if steady. Flashing there's a bigger engine problem. My truck just updated to 4.3.2 today and now I have a steady check engine light.

I have had my '23 Lariat Powerboost since the end of May this year and I've driven more with the check engine light on than without. I have 8 messages in Fordpass related to it. The price I paid/ paying for this truck I shouldn't be having these problems within the 1st couple thousand miles. Has anyone had a positive resolution for this issue?

I got the same engine check light and message. Also got the last OTA, so it sounds like the two issues are related.

Did you ever find out what the problem was after 4.3.2? Mine updated today and I now have the same problem. Along with service advancetrac not and hill start assist not available.

Ended up being no problems at all. Shut off and restarted and it all went away.
