Got engine warning light on my 2021 F-150 PowerBoost XLT at 39k miles. Troubleshooting at dealership said subject fault code. Parts on back order until 10/06.
Fortunately covered under exte
Heck, I’m in Florida and rust at delivery was worse on my 21 PowerBoost. Got tired of waiting for Ford to address so I stripped rust and repainted myself following instructions on another thread here. My build will definitely be in the emergency brake recall. I should be due for 40k oil...
I dislike all the recalls I’ve gotten the first 2 years of ownership, but that is not PowerBoost specific. Wish I understood the tow package differences better because I tow a boat and assumed all PowerBoost were rated at least 11,000lbs. I went with Tow Tech package for Trailer Backup Assist
Thanks for posting your solution. I performed today on my 2021 PowerBoost XLT. I took it in to dealer at 35k miles for two recalls and asked if Ford would ever issue a recall for this as well.
They said no and my 3/36 warranty is about to expire. So, I decided to take care of it myself now.
I have a PowerBoost with Standard 2.4Kw generator. Rented a camper this summer and I could not run the camper a/c beyond half fan speed or the generator would overload and trip the fuse.
I live near the beach in FL, so 4x4 to drive onto the beaches is a must. Resale here much higher for 4x4. Wifey told me not to even consider buying a new truck w/o 4x4 after passing on AWD for her Honda Pilot
