I had a couple of isntances with my truck going into sleep mode, so while i was at Costco I picked up a H7 interstate battery. 850 CCA.

After some issues, I got through the battery reset in the owners manual. Do I need to make any other changes?

I'd go with a H8.

I have the factory H7 on my 5.0l and get sleep mode frequently. Maybe two days after driving.

Theres nothing to change. I went from an H6 to an H8 and haven’t had any issues. The H8 has been in for 627 days now and doing great!

I purchased an ODB MX+ Bluetooth adapter from Amazon. It has a free app in which you can download vehicle specific PID's for Ford, and then you are able to build custom dashboards on your phone or tablet. It also allows you to read and clear codes from ALL Ford modules as well as many other features. such as logging, monitoring and diagnostics.
