Start Jumping ?. The cheapest way in that I found was a VeePeak BT+ (BTLE) from Amazon, buy OBD Fusion (same as OBDLink, they both came from another ancestor software), buy the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Library add-on. Configure which of the thousands of PIDs you want displayed in CarPlay. I don't know if OBDLink (supplied free with an OBDLink MX+) has the CarPlay ability.Another option would be the wireless OBD2 dongle and iPhone app. If the app was CarPlay compatible I would jump on that no questions asked.
?... Not much does work down here, so I'm sure that it will up there ???...Maybe it only works in Australia?...
While extra gauges are nice, the CarPlay solution allows all those apps to run concurrently, you simply tap an icon to bring the display of that app up on screen. Works well.Trust me you want your iphone for Apple car play (maps and music)
This is a nice standalone device that just sits there. did you see the measurements?
Check your OBDLink app in Settings > Preferences > CarPlay. If the CarPlay choice is missing from preferences, then you might need to buy OBD Fusion to get it.It would be nice if it was Bluetooth. I have the oblink Mx would be nice if Apple would allow it to use CarPlay.
this is all incorrect………..300 degrees willWhen digital ATF gauges started to be provided on trucks it freeked out a lot of people. Before if the idiot light was not lit then all was well. Now they see 250 degrees and get worried. The flash point of ATF is 450 degrees so a temperature of 300 degrees is not cause for worry.
If you tow the use of the Tow Haul mode helps to keep AFT temps lower by altering the shift points and keep the torque converter clutch engaged longer before upshifting.
