You said in your opening post, that you bought the same model again…but your previous F150 was a Platinum PB, and this is an XLT 2 WD. How is that the same model? Or did I miss something?
Having worked in the automotive industry for almost 30 years, the model is “F150”. I bought another 21 F150 which is the same as my prior F150. I didn’t say I bought the same trim or powertrain. Hopefully that helps clear things up.

Ahh ok…no worries that’s what I missed. I read it quick and figured you bought the same exact truck. But you said model, my mistake. Thank you for the clarification👍. All the best with it…you found a great used vehicle there it seems. Very nice find.

Waiting on my ‘25 Platinum Plus(703A) in Rapid Red to arrive….they tell me it’s enroute to my dealer here in CT….getting darn close to 8 months on the wait since ordering it.

All good, sir. I actually quite like this XLT. There are only two options this truck doesn't have that I liked in my 2021 F150 besides the 7.2k propower onboard, and that's ventilated seats, and the B&O unleashed system.

Congrats on the new truck. I know when I was waiting and tracking my 24 Ranger Raptor, there were many weeks of mystery as to when I'd receive it. The Ford Order Tracker was pretty accurate towards the tail end of the process. Did they give you the PIN code to track it?

I have the VIN and Order number…but when I try to track it…it never seems to work. The GM at my dealer is a good friend, and he tracked it today and said it’s on a truck in NY this morning…so it’s getting close lol. I guess we’ll see?

That's a really good looking truck! If I'd found something like that in my search for a rcsb xl, I would probably have been tempted.

That's pretty nice for a work truck!

I hope your new venture is prosperous.

I ordered a used set of 2021+ HDPP 18" wheels from LKQ and received those yesterday. I paid $91 each shipped for three of them, and $157 for the 4th. Not too bad. They're in pretty good condition and to my surprise they included OEM TPMS sensors and center caps.

would you have a link or phone number to call for these?
I need one for the spare

I got a new set of tires installed today at America's Tire. I went with a set of Rocky Mountain All Terrains in LT275/65/18 (Load E) on a set of 2021 F150 HDPP wheels. I paid under $500 for the wheels out the door, and the tires installed were $775.

First impressions, I like the look of the truck. Going from the 265/60/18 Hankook Dynapro HT's to these means the diameter increased about 1.5". I think it looks better, but I am going to install a 1.5" spacer on the shock assembly to raise the nose a little bit.

I will call out that I'm OCD AF, so I was doing a couple of things here that concerned me. The first was going with America's Tire (and DIscount Tire) house brand. At $150 a tire, I was worried they wouldn't be all that great. The second concern I had was going from an SL rated passenger tire, to an LT tire. The factory HDPP truck used a Load C LT tire at 48 PSI, so I was going above that.

When I got the truck back, they had set the tire pressures to around 37 PSI, which is too low for this tire package. I drove it home and it rode slightly stiffer than stock, but it was pretty hard to notice. I aired up the tires when I got home to 50 PSI cold as a starting point to see how they contact the ground and also how they rode. I took a 30 mile drive to put them through some initial paces on highway, residential, and rural back roads.

I have to say both of my concerns quickly faded away. These tires are barely louder than the Dynapro HT's that were on the truck. Even though the truck is a 2021, those tires only had 6,500 miles on them. They just started to crack with age. They're also much quieter than the BFG KO3's on my 2024 Ranger Raptor. The second is while the truck does ride firmer, I don't find it bad at all. This is with the Max Tow multi-leaf rear springs as well. It feels like a truck but not uncomfortably so. I did notice a difference going from the 37 PSI up to 50 PSI, and that was to be expected.

They also balanced out very well and they are smooth as glass up to 75 MPH which is as fast as I drove today. Zero shakes, wandering, or bad behavior out of these Gigi made tires. If they hold up then these will be a total steal.

Got the TPMS set to 50 PSI and set the tire diameter to 2475 (from 2356). Reset the PCM adaptations in Forscan, cleared on DTCs and it's good to go. Took it out for a 8 mile drive and compared against my GPS. Dead on accurate.
