3/7 for me as well. 2:41 PM email. Agate black, Platinum, 5.0, 701A high, BAP, FX4, max tow, moonroof, max recline seats, work surface, wheel liners. Ordered 2021 on 9/29, converted to 2022 on 11/11. No adaptive steering.
If you have 701a high, wouldn't you also automatically have adaptive steering since that is active 2.0? I don't see any stand alone option for adaptive steering other than what is mentioned as co-pilot active 2.0 which is standard on 701a high.

Adaptive Steering (AS) is not included with, nor has anything to do with Active 2.0. It is a free standing option. It is low speed, extra power, power steering. (Less turns of the wheel at low speed.)

It is NOT included with 701A despite what the brand new Ford build and price says. The build and price has been wrong since April when AS was removed from the standard features. The Order guide is the ruling set of information on what is available per trim line.

Page 27 of the PDF order guide (numbered page 26) is the start of the Platinum options:

Well dang....dealer never mentioned it was an option! Thank you for providing the clarity! I guess I don't really need it as I am mostly high speed....right now I'm just hoping I don't get pushed to 3/14 since auto loan rates are going up. 11/4 order 3/7 build priority code is 10 I think the dealer doc said....they said it was set to the highest it can be...even above presold unit since Ford sat on my ID verification for over a month before confirming the order. Guess we'll see.

Glad to help. Sorry to hear about the lag in your order verification. Right when you ordered, AS was required to get a VIN on Plats. Not sure about now. Last I heard from Granger, Lariat Highs to just below Limited's were on very limited availability. And not sure about that now. It would be helpful if Ford would communicate (to the customer) where the commodities are scarce and then when they are no longer an issue.

Best of luck on your build and hope you have no issues with the front rolling through today. It was pretty windy this AM and possible tornadoes this afternoon up here.

I just received an email from Ford. I got pushed back again. To 3/7. I ordered a limited with the power boost pretty much everything on it. on 12/9. on 12/16 received a build date and vin. A build date of 2/21 then bumped to 2/28. now bumped to 3/7.

Makes sense. Like the other guy - every day I don't see an email from Ford is a good day. :)

Got an email last night that my build is moving to week of March 14th as well. The dealer says the actual build date is the 12th so we'll see!

I ordered a 2022 platinum hybrid with interior work surface and max recline seats on 10/2. It arrived mid January at the dealer.

When did your order go in and was it for a 21 or 22?
Original order was for a 2021 (early September), but it missed the cut-off at Ford, so the dealer had to re-submit as a 2022 in early-October. Order priority 19 and not a peep yet from Ford.

As much as "rescheduled build dates” might feel like a stab in the heart… given what happened last year with Ford building and parking incomplete trucks in lots to let them rot, the further from winter your build gets pushed, the better chances you WON’T get a rust bucket.

I feel like I dodged a bullet with mine. I was prepared to buy mine in November 2020 but ended up spending 4 months trying to find a fully loaded RCSB, finally gave up and ordered it last March. SEVEN rescheduled build dates later it arrived on November 29th 2021.

A lot of trucks that were built in December – March(ish) were delivered with undercarriages rusted to fcuk!

A lot of guys were taking delivery of their brand new $70K trucks and driving them to ACE Hardware for a wire brush and a can of Rustolium.

Hang in there and DO NOT believe any “promised build dates”.

I would be legit furious. I saw some of these pictures and I told the dealer GM that if mine comes in looking like that, they have 2 options. Fix it or fix it. My GMC AT4 HD didn't have a spec of rust on it and it came from Michigan as well. That being said though, COVID screwed everything up, so there is only so much the manufacturers can do. One thing they can't do is not produce anything for half a year waiting on chips, so I do get it.

So far so good on my order though - Build to day is March 9 as of Saturday. It's not a Monday or Friday truck, so that makes me happy. Dealer told me to pray that it gets dropped in Nashville as the truckers are much quicker. He said if it gets dropped in Birmingham, pray..... Fortunately, most of my dealers trucks come through Nashville. Good thing having my brother works for the railroad, because I'll be tracking that railcar the entire way from Dearborn...and the excitement builds...

That's crazy. I ordered a MY21 9/1/21. It missed being built in 2021. The dealer submitted a MY order 11/22/21, with a priority # of 19. It showed up at the dealer 02/03/22.

Talked to the dealer while I was there Saturday about the adaptive steering. He said you don't want it....Ford told them 30 weeks for adaptive steering trucks. Is it true....anyone's best guest, but seeing as that mine is at 16 without it, it seems possible.
