I get Toyota Supplier discount. I can get a TRD Pro Tundra Hybrid Crew for $62K.You know it's funny, when I was looking at trucks, the equivalent Toyota was $15,000 more ($65,000), just what you said. They were on the lot, but I couldn't get myself to pay that much in Toyota taxes.. That's a lot of repairs I could use for the F150.
That would be a GMC Sierra 1500 Danali Ultimate. They start around $78,000.00. Well equipped but with plenty of additional options. Good luck. FYI, earlier this evening I contacted my Ford dealer to advise them I'm canceling the order for the Lariat. Done with Ford.I get Toyota Supplier discount. I'm looking into the Denali, not the Ultimate, out of my price range. The one I'm considering cost $70,285.00 and the dealership has a few discounts available. One is for military that I qualify for. Meeting with them on Tuesday and most likely will walk away with an order. Stay tuned.Wow... Denali ultimate would be nice...![]()
Better than the typical "in production" response!Got an update from ford chat a little bit ago the secondary status on my 2024 Platinum was “origin received” not sure what that means a few other forums mention that status means it has been released by the plant waiting for shipment
"I’m disheartened to hear that your customer will not be taking delivery of their retail order just as you are. Danna and Laura responded very timely to your request and followed the processes that are available in this type of situation. Our visibility on pre-gate released units is very limited on top of that fact that the 24MY F-150 launch did not go as planned and we experienced significant delays. However, the delays prevented several quality concerns that would have impacted ground stock had the units not be held. If you think there is any possibility of retaining this customer, please give me a call. Quality remains a critical priority for the company and part of that is being disciplined with launches. We have a lot more work to do in this space.""Giving follow up, the unit has had several changes, probably due to material availability and different commodities have had to be added to this order after it was produced, and for this reason it has not been released from the plant.
We have already raised a ticket to see what is happening in more detail from the plant, I add to our specialist in planning and distribution."
It looks as though they still aren’t acknowledging the communication issues or the lack there of.Here are a couple or responses my dealer received from Ford about the Lariat I ordered back in December 23. Not much said, and not a whole lot of clear explanation and of course much too late. I already canceled my order and looking to purchase a GMC Sierra Denali. Good luck to all who have not received their vehicle yet. Suggest you don't wait too long to decided to move on.

Regardless of what happens I would not take delivery of this truck. Who knows the problems that might occur causing more frustration and possibly financial outlay. Sticking with my decision to purchase the GMC Sierra. It looks as though they still aren’t acknowledging the communication issues or the lack there of.
I think most of us will agree on the quality needing to be improved but just saying it’s on hold with absolutely no potential end date and no communication on what the hold is regarding is what is frustrating all of us.
You have to wonder if they get the truck done early next week if it would sway anyone’s decision. That is your decision to make, good luck!
Ehh I’m cool with waiting. I would rather wait for the truck I want rather than get a truck which isn’t as good (in my opinion) just so I could have it now.Regardless of what happens I would not take delivery of this truck. Same build week 4/22 and they just stopped updating my tracker. Was supposed to ship by the 12th and when i ask chat they just say last update was 4/29 (same as the tracker site)I've got nothing at this point. My dealer isn't sure what is going on. Ford chat says its going to ship sometime next week but that is what they have always said so at least it hasn't changed but I dont have a lot of faith in that.
Same here. No ETA update after the first window passed, last update is 5/1. I’m convinced that until your “last updated” date updates online, chat will know nothing.Same build week 4/22 and they just stopped updating my tracker.
