Build week 4/29 -5/6

I was told tonight ETA to dealer was 5/9 to 5/12 and that the tracker wouod Show that on the next update but couldn't tell me when it would update.

Sounds like it’s all nonsense. Best (and only useful) tracker is Vin View and of course there’s no public access to that.

My lease is up tomorrow so stopped at the dealer and looked at the screen everyone is posting. My truck is in a holding lot with 5.54 miles and a 90% charge on battery. No ETA for delivery either.

I am calling Ford Credit now to pay to extend my lease for 1 month. Hopefully, I won't have to extend it again.

Technically not part of this build week but I can commiserate with you all

For the first time I actually got some incremental information from Ford Chat. The dates from Chat are not completely detached from the online Tracker but they are definitely different and she suggest its simply waiting on a transport. I can maybe believe this as my dealer is in a semi-remote location so maybe they are waiting until they have a full truck to send to his dealership? Who knows...

Before this all I got was a very canned response about how its still in production

I have contacted Ford chat more times that I actually lost count. Never received a straight answer just a bunch of double talk. According to chat my Lariat was shipped three times. It was never shipped, just moved to different locations on a quality hold. That information I received from my dealer, with a map showing it's location. Ford plant in Kansas.

Every time I talk to chat, I get a slightly different response. They get some incrementally different amount of information between the online tracker and the dealer VinView.

From everything I've looked at so far, the dealer can track most accurately and with the most information, but as soon as it goes to "on hold", no one knows anything. Chat can give rail and convoy numbers, and read a primary and secondary status, but beyond that, you might as well click refresh on the tracker again.

Granger did email me this morning and said "a lot of people are in the same boat", so as much as I hate to say it, I think we're in for an extended wait.

Curious to see if your dealer tracker shows the same "QA Hold" that mine does. Let us know!

Mine definitely says QC Hold. Ford Marketing told me today it was moved offsite for QC Hold….which could also be Plant Hold or Transport Hold lol

Ours are basically the same….. almost down to the minute, just 1 day apart.

Alright got busy yesterday and did not reach out to my dealer but did so today.

He got back to me right away and said he has heard that the Powerboosts indeed have a QC hold, he thinks it is IT/software related as he has also been told they are targeting to it on 5/15 (today) and he hopes to know more information tomorrow 5/16.

Entirely possible there are other QC holds for non-PB trucks but thats what he said was holding up mine.

I guess it would explain why some are shipping off to the dealerships. Though I am not sure if all of them are PB’s. Here is hoping that we all have some movement soon.

They are targeting to do what on 5/15? Have it resolved or just an update?

This IT issue would make a lot of sense based on what my last status update was! Whoever said "Ford I.T." must have been right!
