They are targeting to do what on 5/15? Have it resolved or just an update?

This IT issue would make a lot of sense based on what my last status update was! Whoever said "Ford I.T." must have been right!

My takeaway was the software fix was being pushed to all the vehicles currently on hold today (5/15).

Edit: all vehicles that are on hold due to the supposed hybrid software issue at least

I spoke with Ford Credit at 5:30 pm today because my lease expires today, and I need to extend it for a month. I was told to wait until next Friday as she could see a notification waiting to drop today. She couldn't see what it was but if by next Friday there was no ETA then to call to extend. She confirmed my build was complete on 5/3.

Checked the status of my Lariat on the tracker, nothing new. Still only shows Ordered. Been that way for 6 months. Getting more determined to go get a GMC, giving up on Ford.

After the call that I just got off of with Ford Marketing, I'm about to go spend $65K+ on a Toyota...

Most recent events:
5/13 - No updates anywhere, however I know at that point via Ford Pass App, and the "AsBuilt" tool with my BCM reporting that the truck has been produced 5/4 (blend date 5/3).
5/14 - Tracker updates, but no new information (still says In Production 5/6), contact chat for a update, no new info. (HOWEVER Dealer info shows that it had been produced and moved to another location for accessories install.)
5/15 - Contact Ford marketing via Chat, "Shipped offsite, expected delivery 5/11 - 5/17".
5/16 - Contact dealer to get the most recent information (Quality hold, TBD), but with no additional information.
Just now - Contact Ford Marketing via phone, and get told it's "In Production", no holds. When I ask whom I can speak to, to address the lack of consistent information being made to the customer, OR even the Marketing people that are supposed to support us, the response is that there is nobody. No email or contact would be provided to me, also no escalation to a supervisor available. No email or contact information at all (so basically.. if you don't like it, go buy something else). Believe me.. I'm close....

Supposedly, someone will review my comments (and probably the call recording) and get back to me in 1 to 2 days. We'll see how that goes.

You know it's funny, when I was looking at trucks, the equivalent Toyota was $15,000 more ($65,000), just what you said. They were on the lot, but I couldn't get myself to pay that much in Toyota taxes.. That's a lot of repairs I could use for the F150.

SingleSpeed, I have bee having the same results when contacting Chat or Marketing. I have made my decision that I'm going to cancel my order with Ford and purchase a GMC Sierra Denali, same price as the Lariat, but with more standard equipment. Heading to the GMC dealer on Tuesday to speak with the sales folks. Hopefully I won't have wait 6 months as I have been with Ford. Stay tuned for updates.
