I think I tried to activate it on 5/2 so 18 days ago... kind of a weird amount for timing out and the wording made me think it was a result of action taken by someone. But who knows at this point.

And just by way of confirming your theory here I definitely have a PB with a blend date of 4/26
Well……at least mine is moving around.. Hoping that is better than sitting at the back of the parking lot.

I honestly don't know about the timeout, I just assumed there was.

Hoping anyone gets some movement so maybe we can get a few answers on what is going on... Something about that 4/24 mark for the PB's that had issues after that. Still haven't seen any for sale with blends beyond that date.
The extent of the hold may be broader than the PB...mine is an EB blended on 5/2 and also on hold.

Interesting, I wonder why you are on hold and @lrb_35128 went right to "built" status. Y'all have similar builds. Can't figure out the common denominator. Maybe there's more than one issue here?

I would find an answer like this acceptable (not great, but acceptable). I just made this up.. trying to stay positive :

"At Ford, we are performing an extensive quality check on each vehicle before being delivered to your dealership. We understand that you are excited to receive your new vehicle, however due to the large number of vehicles being produced, this process can cause a delay. Based on scheduling, we expect your vehicle to clear QC by XX/XX/XXXX and ship shortly after."

Haha this would be perfect. I’d quit bugging them if I got this response.

You might be on to something here. Spoke to Ford Marketing via phone today and they said something about my truck being offsite at a body shop for "upfitting" this is of course inconsistent with what chat has told me but chat has been inconsistent with themselves so who knows.

Honestly have no clue what the means exactly but if there were paint issues I could see that causing delays between similar builds... mine is AMB for the record (rest of the order details: Lariat Anti-Matter Blue PB, BAP, BUP x63 PAT removal)

"Body Shop for upfitting" is when they send it down the road after rolling off of the production line for any accessories, running boards, rear center step, etc. that are not dealer installed options. The truck isn't considered "built" until after this step is done (and apparently a QC hold/check now too).

From what I've seen, when you see an actual date under "In Production" on the tracker, that is when the truck rolled off of the line, but not considered "built" yet. This has proven true for my truck plus most others that I've paid attention to.

I don't believe my order had anything like that. No bed liner, no wheel liners, no bed covers, no steps. It did have running boards but they were the standard running boards nothing special here.

Either way its been showing In Production (w/a date) since 4/26/24... coming up on a month now.

Well, just received notification from my dealer that my truck has been released from the Plant, and should be headed to the railyard soon...with an ETA here between 6/8 to 6/14. Online tracker hasn't updated yet.

I think I am done, not sure what I'll do next but its not finalizing the purchase of an F-150. Latest update from Ford Chat was estimated delivery window that has since passed and is now pushed out a week but not clear indications of actual progress

I just am not excited about this truck anymore. I was super excited when I ordered, when it was schedules, when it went into production but now I am questioning what the hell I am buying for $70k+... thats a lot of cash for a truck that couldn't be shipped for unknown QC holds but then might also still be shipped so Ford can hit their earnings call numbers.
