Broken: Volume and audio sources selector

This happened to me last week. No OTA. I unpaired my phone and reconnect and it went away. Not sure what is causing it. Has not done it again.

Interesting, I went to check the truck this morning and everything worked as normal. Volume control worked as it should, maybe the OTA update needed to reboot Which occurred overnight?

Have to love these software driven issues, hard to track down core causes.

that’s what I hoped for when the issue first started. Alas it was still busted the next day. Thankfully today the truck is still working, the day after the battery disconnect reboot.

I had this happen to me today as well. Restarted the truck a number of times, nothing. Happened to be 2 blocks from my dealership when it happened, drove there to find the service department closed on a Saturday. Got back into my truck frustrated that I'd have no radio and would have to wait until Monday to talk to the dealership. Started my truck to drive away and the audio was working again. I did no battery resets, nor did I pull any fuses. I did get the latest update on Nov 9, but that was 6 days ago.

lucky! Disconnecting batteries isn’t so bad if it saves the hassle and time at the dealership. The self healing and minor fixes we have to do as owners of new $$$$ trucks are frustrating - still love the truck though, so I move on. The comfort, power and utility are solid.

Apparently maybe not so lucky, driving around today, at random times the audio cut out for a few seconds with the same symptom, volume 0. Happened about half a dozen times in about an hour's worth of driving. POS.

Bummer! Hope the double battery disconnect solves it. Still working a few days later. Pretty sure the dealer would do the same and give some general reason for why it was busted and what they did to fix.
