Brake Fluid Pressure Bleeding

I took mine to the dealer as the procedure seemed a bit much for me. After I got the truck back I inspected each caliper and found one ofl the bleeders leaking and all for missing dust caps. So back to the dealer and a short talk with the service manager. Fixed 10 minutes later. Maybe next time I will try this myself.

Interesting. I have a pressure bleed canister that gets pumped up by hand.

I have an old motive power bleeder, hand plumb unit, it still works and use it on my other vehicles, did you end up using it on your truck?

Ended up using my motive power bleeder and Forscan. It was a 2 step procedure, first step actuated the abs and the second step was manual bleed, asked me to go from shortest to longest run. Each caliper is self timed, 60 second bleed, ended up bleeding a little over 500ml.

Did not see bubbles in the lines, and brake pedal feels firmer. But I did end up with a C0049 code, but cleared it after several test drives, has not turned on for the last day, not sure what that is caused by, brake fluid remained at max during procedure.
