Borla exhaust for Powerboost released

Impossible to make a 6 cylinder sound good. Just is what it is. Many have tried, and they've all failed. Since it can't sound good, and the factory exhaust is quiet, well, such a product is a 'solution' in search of a problem. Every F150 6 cylinder I've heard sound like a USPS LLV (aka, the white boxed mail truck).

When the PB is heat scavenging the exhaust, that's when it sounds the best as it's the quietest it can be.

You need to be specific....it's impossible to make a V6. Inline 6s sound marvelous including Ford's!

Every F150 6 cylinder I've heard sound like a USPS LLV (aka, the white boxed mail truck).

Weren't they were originally built on the Ford Explorer or Chevy S10 chassis? Back in the dy I remember seeing so many of them with the cheap explorer steelies on them.

on the PB, intake noise yes, exhaust? eh... but I don't mind the black tips... gonna get one.

So it looks like they just deleted the bolt on flange and put a coupler pipe in, guess you have to cut the stock pipe off after the heat ex-changer. So basically you could do this with any catback for the F-150, just cut the pipe off with the flange and add a coupler.

Has anyone taken the plunge and put thus on their powerboost? Curious about the any annoyance with on/off nature of the hybrid system.

The usual Youtube sound references for exhaust on the Powerboost subject are lacking, unfortunately.

Powerboost BAP has side exhaust, does not come with the rear exit exhaust because the battery.

"Looks in my driveway and scratches head"..
Hmm. Maybe my Powerboost has the factory battery delete so it could come with the Dual Exhaust.
