Boost Auto Mirrors (power folding mirrors that can be manually extended for towing) - before & after installed look

The entrances to my garages are fairly narrow, so I decided to invest in power folding mirrors that can be manually extended for towing. I like them a lot after two weeks of use. They make parking much easier and improve the experience when towing a car trailer. The upper and lower mirrors are really nice. The lowers are adjusted manually; the uppers work with the factory controls.

I traded my standard mirror for tow mirrors on my lariat, unfortunately the tow mirrors came off of an xlt and had no power fold. I wasn’t about to spend 1,700 bucks in some mirrors. The mirrors are 10x better than the non-tow mirrors. Definately the best upgrade yet.

I wouldn't have paid the freight, but the power fold instead of manual makes life a lot easier. And it's probably better than cutting slots in the walls for the mirrors to clear.

True, and I did it without realizing it until installation. I'm figuring out my options.

Looking good! I love the Boost Auto stuff. I replaced my tow mirror lights with Boost Auto smoked sequential switchback lights and they work/look great.

Please don't ask me why I had to replace (one of) my tow mirror lights...

(Okay, okay it was a narrow gate and I wasn't paying attention. Ugh.)

I'm almost certain OEM is the only way to retain the cameras.

I've seen posts and videos of people who have added them. How to do it well is the question.

They add the camera from newer trucks to oem mirrors that have a camera, but an older year mirror. Not sure you can add a camera to a mirror that’s not wired for a camera. It’s got a housing for camera also. By that time cost will be the same or more then oem with cameras.

I probably should have added factory folding mirrors with cams, but I'm committed at this point. I'll sort it and post a thread when I'm done.
