I tend to wear some DARK sun glasses. Oakley M-Frames the style. This truck is constantly telling me to watch the road and to resume command. I can take the glasses off and it stops. It seems this truck is EXTREMELY sensitive when it cannot see your eyes.....

I also have those Oakleys, and have the same issue. I find that the nose bridge blocks the IR light illumination of my right eye. When I get the nag message, I turn my head a bit to the left and it is happy. I was on a trip a couple of weekends ago, and could readily repeat this. No issue when the glasses are off as I can see the IT emitter with each eye.

My girlfriend mentioned the other day that if she's wearing polarized sunglasses then she can't see the HUD in her Mazda CX-5. I'm not a tech expert but I'm guessing it's something with the light not being able to penetrate and/or being reflected. Sounds similar to this so probably not a Ford issue but more one with the technology.

The Oakleys are polarized, but if the nose piece is blocking the right eye, I get the nanny warning. If I turn my head towards the IR emitter, it is happy as can be and goes away. Maybe different angles of the IR light to the polarized lens makes a difference too, but I really think mine was due to the nose piece. I don't know that for certain though.

I have no issues with Oakley Five Squared with Gold Iridium polarized lenses. Also no issues with Costas with the green lenses. I suspect the nose piece is the bigger issue.
