Bed Rug Bed Mat XLT installed

Just installed a Bed Rug bed mat XLT on my 22 Powerboost with a power tailgate. Just so everyone interested in this you have to “train” the carpet that covers the tailgate gap to bend to the outside or the tailgate don’t work. If I had to do it again I would get the mat without the tailgate cover and be done. Other than that I love it. I started with Bed Rug bed liners on my last two trucks and I love them. Very durable and easy to clean. Went with the bed mat because I have a spray-in liner in this truck and didn’t want to cut around the lights and generator.

So, don’t get frustrated like I did and just get the carpet to bend to the outside and it will work fine.

I can’t get the hinge between the bed mat and the tailgate cover to bend up and out. If it bends inside and down, the tailgate don’t want to close.

I’m starting to lean more towards the rug vs the spray on bedliner.
Can’t believe we’re stuck with this stupid power tailgate in order to get the rest of the bed utility package

I like the power tailgate. Also I have the spray in liner with the bed rug bed mat. That way there was nothing to trim around.

It eventually learns, had same issue on my Ram, but after awhile, it folded correctly when tailgate came up and down.
