Bed Rug with Power Port

Those with bed rugs and the in bed power port…

How did you do the power panel cutout? I’m trying to figure out the best way before I cut.

the bottom of the bedrug is right at the zipper end where it doubles back. I assume you didn’t cut the zipper. Did you just make the hole an inch or 2 smaller than the power port panel and tuck it behind? Does the zipper interfere with the bottom of the power port?

Remove the power panel, the tie downs, and the box links. You can leave the bed lights and switch in place. Fasten the Bedrug to the bed floor first. Make the the it fits tights to the corners evenly all the was around. Work you installation from the front of the bed to back and from the floor to the top. Now to your question. With the Bedrug in place, locate the bolts holding the power panel in place. Unscrew the bolts from the bed, but leave them in the Bedrug. From the back side cut the red line in the picture (with the blue circles being the bolts). Don't cut into the zipper. It'll be a tight fit but it'll work out just fine.
