Battery tender for a Powerboost?

My 2021 PB doesn't get driven daily, and I see a cluster of battery problem posts, so I am wondering if a battery tender would be good prevention. A PB has two LV batteries, one under the rear seat, both are AGM, yes? Wise to put a tender on both individually? Santa may be bringing me a NOCO tender, which has an AGM mode.

I had previously made the habit of always plugging in a tender for everything. Generators, motorcycles, trucks. I have seen that the batteries last longer, regardless. I hate buying batteries! Seeing that some trucks have power issues is just another reason to do so. I am hoping that I can plug into a 12v outlet and charge that way. If I ever get my truck, I shall find out!

If I'm going to let this 47 module Hybrid sit for more than a couple of days, it gets put on a trickle charger.
It's a bully on the 12V system, in my opinion. The price for having a truck that is like a laptop in hibernation mode, not plugged in to AC, but stored in a backpack.

This solved it for me. I left my truck in a parking garage for four weeks and it popped to life instantly when I returned. Never went to deep sleep either.

I dropped one of the 10 amp NOCOs in the engine compartment. From my understanding*, the battery under the rear seat and the main starting battery are tied together except when the truck spins up the starter (while turning over the ICE). So my understanding is that they are both being charged by the single tender I hooked up to the nut/bolt on the positive terminal and the frame mount wire from the negative (on the passenger side).

how to install the battery tender for truck parks outside? can you hook it up to a 110v power outlet inside the garage and keep the hood closed?

Mine is outside. I purchased an extension for the battery side. I have that routed over to the driver fenderwell. I have a 110 outlet outside, so I sit the charger on the tire and plug it in.

I installed a 4ft SAE extension plug and zip tied to an inconspicuous spot on the front grille. Makes it easy to hookup a basic battery tender. I also leave a yellow microfiber cloth tucked in the drivers door handle to help remind me to disconnect it before driving off! LOL

a “junior” tender works for me, but if you have more parasitic draw for electronics like dashcams etc, you might need one with a bit more power.
