Vary annoying issue I see with my back up camera - the Green, Yellow, Red lines seem to be angled to much inward perspective wise. I think the top tip of the lines (green tip) need to be spread apart. My 2009, 2013, and 2017 all seemed to line up correctly. Not my current 2022.

The left line in the photo should be parallel with the parking spot yellow painted line.

Is there a way to adjust the angle of the back up assist lines?

If you know what these lines are called I can search for any related topics. My searches brought off nothing.

Your insight is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Having the same issue with my '22 as well. I can't use the backup camera and get the truck aligned with where I want it; I am constantly having to readjust my parking position. I thought it was my 56-year-old eyes not seeing things correctly- thanks for sharing.

anyone else with thoughts on this? There must be a way to adjust it. My son's 2021 Tremor 402A does not have this issue - lines are correct.

The only thing I can think of is to perform rear camera and IPMA calibration procedures.

The problem is created by having a singe camera with a wide angle lens. It distorts perspective so it looks like objects to the sides are further from the truck than they actually are.

For me the lines are an approximation and I rely on my side mirrors in tight spaces to know how much clearance is available. But then I have relied on my side mirrors for every truck I have owned over the past 60 years.

The only time I rely on the cameras is for going forward as there is poor visibility so see how close my front fenders are to obstacles with my 2022 F-150. My F-150 has by far the poorest forward visibilty of any pickup I have driven with the low sitting position of the driver. The 360 cameras are for me a must have accessory with this truck.

Woulnt you just put the lines in the center of the space? That being said, I have aonther set of lines that turn with the wheel. Or at least I think I do :ROFLMAO:. I can take a picture in a minute

Why not just use the white steering angle lines to straighten it up?
